Synopsis
A dark and tragic tale of a tiring mother struggling to protect herself and her disabled daughter from the continual attacks of local adolescents. Frustrated by the authorities, she turns to a far greater power than can be found on her failing human plane.

About the director
Oliver Goodrum: Aged eleven my mum introduced me to the brilliant and totally inappropriate films Stripes and Serial Mum. Whilst my dad installed his ultimate film philosophy 'big tits and a happy ending'. These influences eventually led me to an MA in filmmaking where I made a short film called 'Breathing In'. Three music videos later I made 'Consequences of the Kill' a 6min short narrative music video. Then two years later we completed 'This Is Vanity' in November 2012.
