Synopsis
Why my time is different from others? Why the happiest time seems to be passing quickly than the difficult time? Having these simple questions about the time pursed me to explore the individuals perception of time in a form of stop motion animation. Inspired by Issac Newton's concept of absolute time and absolute space, Unordinary journey in an ordinary day' is about an abstract chain of unordinary events occurs in one old woman's day.

About the director
Yoshino Aoki is a graphic designer and filmmaker who creates whimsical and fantastical animated shorts. Born in Japan, Aoki moved to Montreal in 1996 to study illustration and design at Dawson College. Along with working as a graphic designer at the architecture firm NFOE for the past 10 years, she earned a BFA in film animation at the Mel Hoppenheim School of Cinema, Concordia University, and her animated shorts have garnered awards at various international film festivals.
