Filmmaker's note
Adele is me. She's also my sister. It's many of my friends at once. It's my mother in the past and my cousin in a couple of years. When a scream cacthes fire is the tale of the anger introduced to us somewhere during teenagehood that decided to follow us for the rest of our lives.
life.
It is also the story of the unconditional listening that is necessary for a healthy dialogue to be established between young girls and society. The unconditional listening that we refuse to wait patiently; the reason why young girls make films for themselves. For we believe that they speak fire and have powers just as extraordinary as Adèle's.
