Filmmaker's note
Me and Pamela Torres met in August of 2022 during her last semester at the Strasberg Institute. It was clear from the beginning that we wanted to work together so I found a small crew willing to be malleable and shoot entirely on location. As a team we constructed this story on random days we all had off over 9 months. The story continued to evolve and blossom as we shot. We were lucky to be able to work with Rupert Fennessy for one day. This project is shot entirely on super 8, which, with its impressionist qualities, catered beautifully to the story.
