About the director
Nasser Bessallah was born in Algeria in 1990, but his family moved to the Val de Marne in France when he was still young. At the age of 24, he passed a DAEU in literature, then began a degree in history. While filming a rap video, he met two actors, Julien Courbey and Paco Boublard, who suggested he join an artistic agency. He made a mini-documentary and short films in 'guerrilla cinema', before directing his first short fiction film, Rentrons (Back Home), with Melha Bedia in the lead role.
