Synopsis
What does being in treatment do to our chronically ill bodies? The Norwegian government has been sending patients with rheumatism to treatment in Montenegro since 1976. This films follows a group of patients, zooming in on their experience from Institute Dr. Institut?"Dr. Simo Miloševic"?Igalo in 2023, and the programme, and the buildings where treatment is taking place, are facing challenges.

About the director
Anna Ulrikke Andersen is a filmmaker and architectural historian, working as an associate professor in art history at the Institute of Art and Media Studies, the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU). Her recent work is focusing on architecture as experienced by people who live with chronic illness. She was a 2018/2019 Fellow at Harvard Film Study Center. Her films have been screened at festivals such as the Berlin Short Film Festival and the Arctic Moving Image and Film Festival.
