About the director
Melissa Bouwman is an animator, video producer, and educator currently finishing her MFA in Animation and Digital Arts at the University of Southern California. Her interests lie in traditional and digital cut-out animation, experimental narrative, and installation and stereoscopy. Prior to her studies at USC, Melissa enjoyed a career as an artist in the schools, high school teacher, college professor, and workshop leader.
